Red farmhouse with white decorative porch woodwork, mature trees, and a green lawn — A CENTURY-OLD FARMHOUSERESTORATION / EXTERIOR & DETAILS

01 / THE PROJECT

Keep the character.
Care for the details.

A porch to sit on. A window that catches the light. Woodwork with a personality all its own.

This farmhouse restoration is a study in the details that give an older home its identity. The project photographs move from the house as a whole to its porch, decorative woodwork, window surrounds, and outdoor setting.

Explore the collection below, from individual pieces at the workbench to the way those details come together on the house.

THE SMALL THINGS MATTER

Character,
piece by piece.

The shapes in the porch woodwork are part of the home’s visual language. Seen close up, each curve and edge becomes a small part of a much larger story.
